Our Orchestra Trip

On Friday me, my class and the whole school of Hay Park went on a fantastic trip to the Youth Orchestra. If you don't know what the Youth Orchestra is it is a great place were musicians play music. The musicians play their awesome instruments. I think that the people that play there instruments are amazing. When we got to the Orchestra there were some musicians that wanted to start off with their instrument. They played so well it was so significant to hear them play. I think they should be proud of themselves because they are so brave to play something in front of a big crowd. After people tried out there instruments A beautiful young women came out to sing with her marvellous voice. She opera. Opera is when you sing really high. It probably took time for her to learn how to sing opera. Soon after that there was this man who was a musician and suddenly he just started play the instrumental to a very old cartoon called The Pink Panther. After a while a pink panther came out of no where! I was cracking up and laughing hard out because he was dancing around. I thought it was so fun to be an audience at a Youth Orchestra. Later on after his dance was over it was time for some people to conduct! And I mean students not adults. Well Shreya in Henderson class went up and tried out for conducting. She was so good at conducting and she tried her very best but she went a bit too fast but that's okay because she was just starting off. She soon got the hang of it and she did it. After her it was Selena from Miller class. She was so young but she also tried hard. When she had finished conducting her and Shreya got a little medal for trying their best and trying out. They did a astonishing job. And after that it was our day over. We went outside and had a little picnic. Then we had to pick up rubbish and we could go to the park. After we finished having our play it was time to hop in the bus and go back to Hay Park school.
