Our Amazing Trip To The Ports Of Auckland

On Tuesday the 13th of June all the senior students at Hay Park School went on a amazing trip to have a ride on a ferry. First we went on a bus to the Ports of Auckland and then we got off and went walking our way to a big long bridge that lifts up. Then we went to walk around an see some things that were around us. After we looked around and explored we went inside of this building and ate our delicious lunch. There was a checkers board on the table, there was a this thing where you climb up on and there was some huge chess figures. After we gobbled up all our food we went on the ferry! I was so excited because I had been waiting for  this moment! I was so happy when we  got on. There was another school that came on the ferry to but they were at the top because they were much more older than us. At first when we came in and sat on near the table and the boat slowly started to move. Then it went faster. Everyone was in groups and each group had a turn to go out of the boat and go outside. It was so cool when we went out because the wind was blowing and the water looked so beautiful. After that we went back inside and listened to what the adults were saying. Then after some teachers said we could come out. Me and my friend went and everyone else did. Some people stayed inside. It was so amazing to see the water and it was fun being outside to see everything. We went pass the harbour bridge that was made many, many years ago. We went under it twice and the went back where we came from. We kept seeing the same boat everywhere went. I loved being on the ferry with everyone because it was so fun and fantastic! I hope I go again.
